Lynn A. Leeper
STATE COLLEGE - Lynn A. Leeper, 79, a resident of the Hearthside Nursing Center, State College, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at the center
Born July 16, 1930, in Burnham he was the son of the late Marshall M. and Elva Mae (Briner) Leeper.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Ann DeSantis and her husband Ralph, of Mechanicsburg and Lisa N. Sheaffer and her husband Steve, of Burnham; grandchildren, Nathan DeSantis, Danielle DeSantis, Kahlee Sheaffer and Todd Sheaffer.
He is also survived by his sisters, Alma Joyce Harpster, of Hollidaysburg and Barbara J. West and husband Clifford, of Perry, Ga.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph R. Leeper and infant brother, Jimmy Leeper; sisters, Gladys Seiler and Doris Hummel.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served from 1948 to 1952.
Lynn was employed as a purchasing agent for the U.S. Department of Defense at the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot.
He was a member of the Freedom Avenue United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family, and there will be no public viewing. Private interment will be in Birch Hill Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham.
