LEWISTOWN - Thomas E. Orr, 78 years, of Goss Terrace, Lewistown, died at 7:5 a.m. Friday Dec. 18, 2009, at his residence.

Tom was born July 17, 1931, in Lewistown. The son the late Edwin and Mable Long Orr. His wife Marylou passed away March 28, 1988.

He is survived by sons, Terry Orr, of North Carolina and Daniel Orr, of Lewistown; a sister, Elizabeth Peters, of Reedsville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Randy Orr and a sister Tressie Walters.

Tom worked for the American Viscose Corp. and Johnston's Plumbing & Heating.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea.

Tom is a member of VFW Post 7011, American Legion Post 90 and City Fire Company.

Private Graveside services will be held at Juniata Memorial Park with the Rev. John Walters officiating. Graveside military services will be accorded by VFW Post 7011.
