LEWISTOWN - James Leroy Lauver, 66, of 119 Fernwood Ave., Lewistown, died at 2 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at his home.

Born Sept. 9, 1943, in Lewistown, he was the son the late James A. and Mary (Arnold) Lauver.

Children surviving: Kirk Lauver, of Mifflin, Kris Lauver, of Mifflintown and Lisa Lauver, of Reeds Gap; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara English, of Delaware and Mildred Carruthers and her husband William, of Lewistown.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Donald and William Lauver.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Service will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
