Robert A. Clouser
REEDSVILLE - Robert A. Clouser, 89, Elmcroft, Reedsville, died at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009.
He was born Dec. 20, 1919, in Williamstown, the son of the late Arthur and Hattie Lenker Clouser.
Bob was preceded by his first wife Phyllis in 1987 and his second wife Winifred "Sue" in 2007.
Bob is survived by a son Robert R. Clouser of Mifflintown; a daughter Karen Schiller of Jacksonville, Fla.; step-children, Patricia Bishop of Lewistown, Peggy Kneppner of West Hills, Sue Daubert of Burnham, Deborah Gillette of Camp Hill.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, six step- grandchildren, four great- grandchildren and twelve step great-grandchildren.
He was the last of his family being preceded by one brother, one sister and one step daughter, Mary Jane Simpson.
Robert worked for AT&T as an installer of phone systems for 41 years.
He was a Veteran of WWII US Army Air. Flying thirty missions over Germany.
Robert was a member of Yeagertown Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Juniata Valley Amateur Radio Club and past treasurer.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Barr Funeral Home, Inc., 120 Logan St. Lewistown with the Rev. Philip Tundel officiating.
A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
