LEWISTOWN - William T. Morrison Sr., 54, of Lewistown, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at the Malta Home in Granville.
He was born on Feb. 16, 1955, in Altoona, a son of the late Shirley (Morrison) Mock.
He was a 1974 graduate of Chief Logan High School.
Mr. Morrison faithfully served our country for over 21 years, serving in the Army National Guard.
He was employed and retired as a delivery truck driver for the Newborn Company.
William was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed assembling car models and working on puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, Betty L. (Ettinger) Morrison, of Lewistown; one son, William Morrison, Jr.; three stepsons, Joseph Berrier, John McTavish III, and Scott McTavish, all of Lewistown; three sisters, Robin McCartney, of Lewistown, Ann Breon, of McClure, Paula McClure, of Mechanicsburg; three brothers, Robert Mock, of Huntingdon, Mark Mock, of Liverpool and Kenneth Mock, of Newmanstown; and also, one granddaughter; three stepgrandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a stepfather, Frank Mock, and two sisters, Brenda Mock and Heather Mock.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 226 South Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall is assisting the family in the arrangements.
