Mary Jane Liveringhouse

LEWISTOWN - Mary Jane Liveringhouse, 86, of 615 Riverside Drive, Lewistown, died at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 2, 2009, at Ohesson Manor Nursing Home.

Born June 10, 1923, in Tyrone, she was the daughter of the late Charles B.H. Buck Sr. and Margaretta (Stewart) Buck Stonebraker and her stepfather Glen Stonebraker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Liveringhouse, on July 8, 1990.

She is survived by her children, Donna Bryner, of Port Royal, Judy Berrier, of Lewistown, Linda Wilson and her husband Bob, of Reedsville, Karen Bubb, of Lewistown and Susan Liveringhouse, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Tami Miller, Christina Berry, Trisha Hinson, Scott Bryner, Anne Marie Berrier, Kirk Berrier, Beth A. Wilson, Amy Escauage, Ryan Bubb and Eric Bubb; and 13 great- grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brother, Robert F. Buck and his wife Pat, Tipton, and stepsisters, Rheta Parker, of Tyrone and Guinevere Brisbin, of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, David Buck, a brother, Charles B. Buck, a sister, Marilyn A. Buck, stepbrother Glen Stonebraker, and stepsister, Dorothy Bougher.

She was a member of the Lake Park United Methodist Church where she was a member and past president of the Lake Park UMC Church Council; charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 7011; and Tyrone Historical Society.

She loved her family, she loved flowers and camping at Cowan's Gap State Park and was an avid reader.

She was a graduate of Tyrone High School Class of 1941.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown with the Rev. Mark S. Brower officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
