McVEYTOWN - A McVeytown man is facing several charges stemming from an alleged sexual assault incident involving a 14-year-old girl, according to court documents.
During an interview with troopers from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown, the 14-year-old girl stated she was assaulted by Barry Lee Rhodes, 59, of McVeytown, documents indicate.
Police said the girl had been visiting her great-grandmother and Rhodes, who is her uncle, in July at their home in McVeytown. The girl said Rhodes asked her to come back to his bedroom, where he sexually assaulted her, police said. According to documents, the girl also said Rhodes exposed himself to her the morning after the alleged assault occurred.
Rhodes is charged with aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and indecent exposure and is incarcerated at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 bail.
