MILLHEIM - Lottie Mae Stover, 84, of Valley View Haven, formerly of Millheim, entered into eternal rest on Nov. 29, 2009, at Lewistown Hospital.
Lottie, the daughter of the late Heyl K. and Hannah K. Meyer Wolfe, was born in Rebersburg on July 21, 1925.
Lottie was a 1943 graduate of East Penn's Valley High School.
On June 9, 1946, she married the love of her life, Paul Francis "Fritz" Stover, at the Salem Lutheran Church in Aaronsburg.
Mr. Stover survives at Valley View Terrace in Belleville. Lottie was a member of the St John's Lutheran Church where she had formerly served on the church council and was a member of the LCW.
She also was a member of the Millheim Women's Club. She was formerly employed at the Millheim Journal and Neiman's Dept. Store.
Lottie retired from the U.S. Postal service after 20 plus years of service at the Millheim Post Office. Lottie enjoyed reading, but above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren especially during Friday night sleepovers.
In addition to her husband, Lottie is survived by two daughters, Cynthia L. (Dennis) Foust, of Spring Mills and Cathy M. (Gary) Bartley, of Milesburg; by one son Randy P. (Carlene) Stover, of Downingtown; by six grandchildren, Deneen (Dave) Keller, Neil Foust, Rev. Jennifer Shawley, Christopher (Dawn) Shawley, and Lynn and Brian Stover.
Also surviving are four great grandchildren, Erica Deavor, Clarissa and David Keller and Luke Shawley.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Millheim.
Funeral services will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jennifer Shawley, the Rev. Stephanie Peters and the Rev. Leroy Reitz officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Millheim.
Memorial contributions in Lottie's memory may be given to the American Heart Association or to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
