LEWISTOWN - A Granville Township man is in custody after he was picked up Thursday on an active arrest warrant for drug possession with intent to deliver, according to a report from the Mifflin County Drug Task Force.
Agents from the task force said bail for James Michael Wolfe, 56, of Hawstone Road, was set at $200,000 and he is housed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility. Wolfe was arrested by task force members after a search warrant was issued at his residence.
According to the report, police took Wolfe into custody on an active arrest warrant for possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver. The warrant was issued through Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller's office for multiple narcotic sales allegedly conducted at Wolfe's residence, the report indicates.
Authorities said a second man, Paul E. Kearns - who also lives at the residence - faces charges for marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of the search.
The task force was assisted by officers from Mifflin County Regional Police Department, Granville Township Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police.
