Richard E. ‘Rich’ Baker

REEDSVILLE - Richard E. "Rich" Baker, 60, of 42 Willow Lane, Reedsville, died at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at Lewistown Hospital.

Born June 1, 1949, in Lewistown, he was the son of Janet (Zeiders) Baker, of Burnham and the late Richard R. Baker.

He is survived by his wife, RuthAnn (Ferguson) Baker, whom he married on Feb. 1, 1969.

He is survived by his children, Amy S. D'Augustine and her husband Kevin, of Odenton, Md., Richard Chad Baker and his wife Tanya, of Durham, N.C., and Megan R. Yeeles and her husband Daniel, of Frederick, M.D. and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother Keith A. Baker Sr.

He was employed in the wheel mill at Standard Steel in Burnham for 25 years, retiring in 2005.

He was a protestant by faith and a member of the USWA Local 1940.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family and there will be no public viewing. Private interment will be in Birch Hill Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham.
