BURNHAM - Betty J. Farrell, 82, of 111 Second Avenue, Burnham, died at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at Ohesson Manor.

Born April 4, 1927, in Milroy, she was the daughter of the late Jesse B. and Margaret (Ritter) Fultz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris R. Farrell on April 5, 2001.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Rodney A. Farrell Sr. and his wife Susan, of Reedsville, Brenda Farrell Peightel and her husband William, of Reedsville and Jeffrey M. Farrell and his wife Nanette, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Rodney A. Farrell Jr., Erin Farrell, Zachary Farrell, Kathleen Peightel, Lauren Peightel, Shawn Farrell and Ashley Farrell and a great- grandchild, Veru Farrell.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Fultz and a sister, Faye Nale.

She was a homemaker and early in life was employed at the American Viscose Corporation.

She was a member of the Burnham Church of the Brethren.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Avenue, with the Rev. Mark Fultz officiating. Interment will be in Birch Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
