Margaret C. Johnson

REEDSVILLE - Margaret C. Johnson, 97, of Morton, passed away on Oct. 27, 2009, at her daughter's home in Reedsville.

Margaret was born on Nov. 28, 1911, in Bloomsburg, and is the daughter of the late William and Mary Elizabeth (Shoemaker) Crotty.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Walter J. Johnson, who passed away in 1997. She was also preceded by her three sisters, Elizabeth Murry, Pauline Gallagher and Ethel Crotty.

Margaret is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Dr. John Czerniakowski of Reedsville. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Marianne Weltmer and Joseph Czerniakowski; and a great-grandson Nathan Weltmer.

Margaret was previously employed as a salesperson at Lit Brothers in Bromall. She was a member of Our Lady Perpetual Help Church in Morton, PA.

A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Morton.

Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Darby.
