Earl B. ‘Buck’ Fink Sr.
GRANVILLE - Earl B. "Buck" Fink Sr., 90, of Granville, died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at the Malta Home.
Born July 7, 1919, in Granville, he was a son of the late Earl T. and Jessie (Barton) Fink. His wife, Betty J. (Moist) Fink, whom he married Nov. 10, 1945, survives.
Also surviving are: two sons, Earl B. "Buck" Fink Jr. and wife Nancy of New Cumberland, and Todd P. Fink of Granville; three siblings, Robert Fink and wife Maxine of Lewistown, Faye Fink and William Fink, both of Granville; two grandchildren, Barton and Allison Fink.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Fink, and a sister, Joyce Daley.
He was employed as an assistant maintenance engineer for PennDOT, retiring in 1979.
He was a member of the Granville United Methodist Church, and a charter member of the Granville Fire Company.
Buck also was a 50-year member of the McVeytown Lodge No. 376 F and AM, and a member of the Valley of Harrisburg Consistory, the Jaffa Shrine in Altoona and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Juniata Valley Forest No. 88.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 S. Market St., McVeytown, with the Rev. Mark Brower officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
