MILLERSTOWN - Ronald Shuler Showers, 65, of Millerstown, passed away quietly at home on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009.

He was born on July 12, 1944, in Danville, the son of John Shuler Showers and Mildred Wagner Showers.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Frederick Showers, of Millerstown; a son, Jeffrey Showers, of Millerstown; two stepsons, Edward Walborn, of Thompsontown, Jonathan Walborn, of Millerstown; and a stepdaughter, Jody Seiders, of Halifax; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, in the Millerstown United Methodist Church.
