MILLERSTOWN - Margaret J. Davidson, 87, entered into rest on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at Nipple Convalescent Home, Liverpool.

She was the wife of the late Richard E. Davidson, who preceded her on Feb. 14, 1986.

Mrs. Davidson was born on May 19, 1922, in Liverpool Township, Perry County, the daughter of the late Roy I. And Mary M. (Wetzler) Barner.

Since 1970, Margaret and her late husband owned and operated R.E. Davidson & Son Inc., Millerstown, until passing ownership to her son.

She was a lifetime member of St. John (Barner's) Lutheran Church, Liverpool.

Margaret enjoyed shopping, making crafts, decorating for the holidays and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Davidson is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Andy R. and Deborah Miller Davidson, of Millerstown; a granddaughter and her husband, Carla Davidson Wright and Loren Wright of Millerstown; a great- granddaughter, Cassie Elizabeth Wright; two nieces and a nephew.

Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, from the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc. 606 N. Front St. Liverpool and from 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. at St. John (Barner's) Lutheran church, 5 Barners Road, Liverpool. Officiating will be her pastor the Rev. Peter H. Kuebler. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
