Shirley J. Hayes

LEWISTOWN - Shirley J. Hayes, 56, of South Grand St., Lewistown, died at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at Ohesson Manor.

Born Oct. 12, 1949, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late George and Pauline (Kauffman) Oleska.

Surviving is a daughter, Stephanie K. Hayes, of Harrisburg; sister, Sandy Crawford, of Spring Mills; half sister, Carol Snyder, of Lewistown; grandchild, Trey A. Hatcher, of Lewistown; and Aunt Alberta Sizer, of Lewistown.

She was employed at Mifflin-Juniata Area of Aging Inc.

She loved her dog Colby and gardening.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at Mount Rock Cemetery.

Barr Funeral Home Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
