Albert S. and Dessie (Traxler) Beers, of Reedsville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 5, 2009.
They were married on Aug. 5, 1959, in Lewistown.
They are the parents of: Albert Beers Jr., Lewistown; Annette Slemons, Lewistown; Bruce Beers, Lewistown; Bernice Druckenmiller, Burnham. They have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
