LEWISTOWN - Sara G. Michael, 68, of 320 S. Wayne St., Lewistown, died at 8:20 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at her home.

Born December 9, 1940, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late John D. and Priscilla (Brought) Druckemiller. Her husband, Edwin R. Michael, Sr., whom she married June 14, 1957, survives.

Also surviving are children, Edwin R. Michael, Jr. and wife Kimberly, and Sheila Michael, all of Lewistown; sisters, Shirley Jensen and husband Allen, of Lewistown, Judy Sebolt, of Milroy; a brother, Charles E. Druckemiller, of Clayton, Ala.; grandchildren, Heather Michael, Jeffrey Michael, Harry Beers, III, Jerry Palm, Jr., Melinda Palm and Krista Michael; and eleven great- grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harry D. 'Pete' Druckemiller.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Brooklyn Hose Co. and VFW Post 7011.

Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown with the Rev. Brian McNally officiating. Interment will be in the Juniata Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
