LANSING, Ohio - Mary Jane Stufft, 77, of Lansing, Ohio died Friday, June 26, 2009, at the home of her son, following an extended illness.

Stufft was born in Juniata Township, Bedford County on Friday, May 20, 1932, the daughter of the late Silas and Ruth (Weyant) Turner.

Mary Jane was a former co-owner of Klean Sweep Cleaning Company in Saint Clairsville, Ohio.

She was a charter member of the United Church of Schellsburg and had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was the widow of Donald R. Stufft, who preceded her in death May 25, 1983.

Mary Jane is survived by: a son, Grant and wife Carrie, of Lewistown; a daughter, Sara and husband David Forshey, of Powell, Ohio; a sister, Doris, wife of Don Benna, of New Stanton.

Mary Jane is also survived by: three grandchildren, Don Stufft, of Norristown, Kristen and Jared Stufft, both of Lewistown.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Schellsburg Cemetery with the Rev. Ruth Shaver officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to The Mickle - Geisel Funeral Home of Schellsburg.
