MIFFLINTOWN- Ellen Victoria Pearson, 92, of 434 Oak Drive, Mifflintown, died at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Lewistown Hospital.

Born April 21, 1917, in East Waterford, she was a daughter of the late Jerome P. and Grace (Graham) McElhany. Her husband, Albert B. Pearson Sr., preceded her in death on June 4, 1993.

Also preceding her in death was a son, Albert B. Pearson, Jr. on Dec. 28, 1990; four brothers and five sisters.

She leaves behind eight grandchildren: Albert B. Pearson III, of Mifflintown, Victoria L. Pearson, of Newport, Mary E. Hockenberry and husband Randy, of Port Royal, Cathleen M. Albert and husband Paul, of Mifflintown, Dixie L. Marker and husband John, of Lewistown, Tracy D. Stoltzfus and husband Mel, of Lititz, James L. Pearson and wife Nicholle, of Plymouth, Ohio, and Jeanette Long and husband Austin, of Bellefonte; 14 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a homemaker and a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, McAlisterville.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
