Bill and Mary (Irwin) Barger, of Lewistown, recently celebrated their 50th wedding annivesary.
They were married on March 14, 1959, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Lewistown.
The special anniverdsary was celebrated with a surprise party held on April 4 at Tony's Cottage Inn.
They are the parents of: Steve, of Lewistown; Bob, of Mechanicsburg; and Jane, of Downers Grove, Ill. They have nine grandchildren.
He retired after serving as a teacher and principal in the Mifflin County School District, and she retired from Mifflin County Savings Bank.
They are members of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lewistown.
