This year marks the 28th annual Kid Connection, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, in downtown Lewistown.
A lot of planning goes into the event each year. There are behind the scenes preparations that need to be completed. Each year the committee tries very hard to give the kids more and better entertainment and activities at Kid Connection. We try to make the day as fun filled as we can for the kids.
And adults, we didn't forget about you! Kid Connection gives you a chance to spend more time with your children and imagine how much closer you can grow together through the day's activities.

Kid Connection runs solely on donations. These donations come in the form of cash, time, and/or activities. Unfortunately, each year we seem to lose a couple of groups or businesses/organizations that donate to Kid Connection.
If your group already supports Kid Connection, I would like to thank you and ask you to continue this year. If your group does not yet support Kid Connection, I would like to ask you to start. We need help with everything from set up and tear down to financing and having a booth.

If you are not already on board, I encourage you to come and join in on the fun. It is a fun time for both the kids and adults who come and to those who have booths.
I also want to take this time to say a great big "thank you" to the Kid Connection Committee. It is a great committee that keeps this event going and the Lewistown tradition alive. We all do it because we enjoy doing it.
We always are looking for committee members, so if you would like to become a part of the Kid Connection Committee, our next meeting for Kid Connection 2009 is at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lumina Center on Third Street in Lewistown. Thank you!
