Accident closes U.S. 322, stops traffic Sunday

Traffic is stopped on U.S. Highway 322 westbound early Sunday evening. The highway was closed at the Milroy interchange for one hour due to a weather-related vehicle accident near the Laurel Run Dam. One person was taken to Lewistown Hospital for evaluation by Milroy EMS. Milroy Fire Company, Reedsville Fire Company, Milroy EMS, Mifflin County Regional Police, and multiple fire police organizations responded to the incident.
