Leroy and Joanne Kauffman, of Reedsville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 6.
The couple were married on Dec. 6, 1958, at Allensville Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Raymond Peachey officiating.
The Kauffmans celebrated their anniversary with their children and families over Thanksgiving dinner at the Nittany Lion Inn, in State College.

Their children are Jayne and her husband Marv Kanagy, Rod and his wife Gloria Kauffman, Jill and her husband Alan Metzler and Chad Kauffman, all of Reedsville. They have 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Leroy retired as a dairy farmer, and Joanne is a homemaker.
The couple attends church at Maple Grove Mennonite Church.
They attribute their success in marriage to their faith in the Lord, church, a Christian family and friends.
