Boyd and Mildred Zook, of Lewistown, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house reception hosted by Kevin and Amy Zook on July 26.
The couple was married on June 14, 1958, at the Ellen Chapel Church in Ferguson Valley.
Mid is the daughter of the late Chester and Hazel Aurand, of Lewistown. Boyd is the son of the late David and Bertha Zook, of Oakland Mills, Juniata County, and a retired employee of New Holland in Belleville.
They have four children: Kevin, of Dillsburg; Keith, of Huntsville, Ala.; Annette, of Broadway, Va.; and Andrea, of McVeytown; and 11 grandchildren.
More than 100 friends and family members attended the reception held at the fellowship hall of the Ellen Chapel Church. Highlights of the evening included a slide show, cake cutting and remarks from the best man at the couple's wedding, Jack Knouse, of Reedsville.
