Stanley and Evelyn McKee, of McVeytown, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 1, 2008.
They were married in 1958 at Evangel Baptist Church in Lewistown. Stanley is the son of the late Thomas and Ruth McKee, of Lewistown. He is a life-long farmer.
Evelyn is the daughter of the late Albert and Vera Glace, of Lewistown. She has been employed at Lewistown Hospital in the lab and as a patient assistant.

They have four children: Stanley Allen, and wife, Cindy, of McVeytown; Eddie, deceased; Donna Rhodes, and husband, Loren, of Huntingdon; Gordon, and wife, Missy, of McVeytown.
They have six grandchildren: Erica Hayden, and husband J.C., of Nashville, Tenn.; Aaron Rhodes and Joel Rhodes, of Huntingdon; Jon McKee, Ashton McKee and Montana McKee, of McVeytown.
The family held a celebration on July 20 at the home of Loren and Donna Rhodes.
