Steven L. Hockenberry

LEWISTOWN - Steven L. Hockenberry, 44, of Lewistown and formerly of Spruce Hill, died on Sunday, June 21, 2008, at his home.

Born on Sept. 3, 1963, in Derry Township, Mifflin County, he is a son of the late Larry L. and Dorothy B. (Weyant) Hockenberry.

Surviving are: two sisters, Debra K. Berrier, of Mifflin, and Joyce A. Esh, of Port Royal; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a 1981 graduate of Juniata High School, Mifflintown and the Mifflin-Juniata Vocational Technical School, Lewistown.

He had worked as an auto-body technician for several area garages until his disability.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 29, 2008, from the New Church Hill Cemetery, RR 2, Port Royal, with Pastor Chip McCommons officiating.

There will be no viewing.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
