Born May 25, 1972, in Lewistown, he was a son of Charles T. Betush, of Milroy, and Martha L. (Simpson) Wagner, of Dornsife. His former wife, Stacie Frey, of McVeytown, survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Madison L. Betush, of McVeytown; a paternal grandmother, Ethel Betush, of Tarentum; a sister, Susan Lanoue, Harrisburg; a brother, Corey Betush, Yeagertown; step-brothers, Michael Wagner, Lewistown, Scott Wagner, State College, and Millard O. Wagner Jr., Lewistown.
He worked for the New York Wire Company in York. He had attended Indian Valley High School in Lewistown.
Chris loved fly fishing and music, but most of all he loved people. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, family and friends. He was very active in the York County Recovery Program.
He had a great sense of humor. Chris’s genuine warmth, care and concern for people will be missed.
A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main St., Reedsville. A memorial service in York will be held at a later date.
