M. Maxine Strohecker

LEWISTOWN — M. Maxine Strohecker, 80, of Lewland Circle, Lewistown, died at 8 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2008, at Ohesson Manor.

Born Aug. 27, 1927, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late David W. and Edna Mae (Dixon) Snyder. Her husband, Albert Strohecker, whom she married in 1964, survives.

Also surviving are children, Sharon Ann Howell and her husband, John, McClure, Donald Swank, McClure; stepchildren, Bonnie Lee Harmon, Florida, Richard Strohecker, Maryland, Keith Strohecker, Treemond, Ted Strohecker, Hegins; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

She was a member of Strodes Mills Baptist Church.

Her funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Michael Sigler officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.

A viewing will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
