Darlene M. Yoder
LEWISTOWN – Darlene M. Yoder, 60, of state Route 103 North, Lewistown, died at 12:16 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born Sept. 26, 1947, in Bratton Township, she was a daughter of the late Jay R. and Dorothy F. (Renninger) Rhodes.
Surviving are: children, Charles D. “Toby” Yoder Jr., of Lewistown, Michelle Lane and her husband, Michael, of McVeytown, Shannon Frymyer and her husband, Bradley, of Lewistown; siblings, William J. Rhodes, of Lewistown, JoAnn Plank, of Granville, James R. Rhodes, of McVeytown, Robert M. Rhodes, of Malta Home, Grace Markley, of McVeytown, Randy L., Karen K., Johnny L. and Ricky L. Rhodes, all of Lewistown; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was employed in the deli at Wal-Mart for the past 11 years.
She was a member of the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren.
She enjoyed word puzzles and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her neighbor’s children.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Donald E. Peters Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Pine Glen Cemetery.
There will be no public viewing.
