They were married on April 20, 1958, at the Milroy Methodist Church, by the Rev. William R. Jones.
Their special anniversary was celebrated with a vacation to Long Bay, Negril, Jamaica.
They are the parents of Kimbra and her husband, Kim, Heimbaugh, of Milroy; and James, of Lewistown. They have four grandchildren, Jenna and Luke Heimbaugh; and Stevie and Zane McNitt.
Both are retired from Ford New Holland. They are members of Reedsville Methodist Church.
They attribute the success of their marriage to a willingness to forgive and forget, and love.
