Milford Daryl Fisher

Born Oct. 19, 1949, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Milford O. Fisher and Wanda F. Fisher, of Lewistown, and Gladys Smith Fisher, of Reedsville.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Bilbay Fisher. Also surviving are two daughters, Betty Jo and Daria; two sons, Daryl and Eric; and two stepdaughters, Angela and Kelly. In addition, Mr. Fisher has four brothers, Robert E. Fisher, of Reedsville, David C. Smith, Michael O. Fisher, of Lewistown, Brett L. Fisher, of Lewistown; and one sister, Patricia Ann Koch.
Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his father Milford O. Fisher in May 2007.
Mr. Fisher was a veteran of the Viet Nam War and was qualified as an expert marksman with both the M-14 and M-16 rifle. He also was awarded the National Defense Service metal.
Mr. Fisher spent most of his summers camped along the Juniata River in Mifflin County, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Fisher also enjoyed gardening.
Mr. Fisher was a retired insurance adjuster for Prudential and Liberty Mutual Insurance Companies.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
