Ruth Elizabeth Lepley

Born April 15, 1913, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Charles Harman Lepley, who died in 1956, and Lucy S. (Wagner) Lepley, who died in 1939.
She is survived by a niece, Peggy Amos, of Pharr, Texas, a nephew, George L. Comer, of Baltimore, Md., and a sister-in-law, Virginia C. Lepley, of Lewistown.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell W. Lepley in 2002 and Lt. Charles Albert Lepley in 1945; two sisters, Alberta May Lepley in 1961 and Margaret Comer in 1994; and a stepmother, Blanche Staford Lepley.
She was a 1933 graduate of Lewistown High School.
She retired in 1972 from F.M.C. Corp, Lewistown, with 37 years of service.
She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Lewistown, Fidelis Sunday School class, Missionary Society of the church, Grace Goldies and had taught in the nursery department of the church for 25 years.
Her service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2008, at Grace United Methodist Church, Lewistown, with Pastor Richard J. Bender and Pastor L. Ed Moore officiating. Interment will be in Mount Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Friday until the time of service at the church.
