Since 1981, owner Tim Havice has been expanding and improving his property to attract a “good mixture of different businesses.”
“It really is like a big family here. It’s nice ... we have good neighbors, too,” Havice said.
Havice said the Kish Creek Center also is a good place for a business because of its proximity to the downtown area.
“It’s very convenient, people can get in and out quickly,” he said.
The center is well lit at night for security, and it is kept clean throughout the year, Havice said.
“It really is a matter of pride. I live in the area, and it’s important to me that this place is kept nice,” he said.
Havice also said the current businesses at the center really do compliment each other — a theme he said he hopes to continue with the new building.
The new 5,000-square-foot office/commercial building, which could house up to three businesses, is located directly behind the Burger King at the Kish Creek Center. For more information, call 248-6754.
