Randy L. ‘Shanty’ Wray

McCLURE — Randy L. “Shanty” Wray, 49, of Old Stage Road, McClure, died at 10:10 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, at Lewistown Hospital, Lewistown.

Born Sept. 10, 1958, in Lewistown, he was the son of George S. and Janet (Wray) Wray, of Old Stage Road, McClure.

Also surviving are: two sons, Shawn C. Wray and his wife, Stephanie, of Lewistown, and Justin L. Wray and his wife, Libby, of Burnham; his brothers and sister, Russell J. Wray and his wife, Bonalea, of McClure, Denise Hess and her husband, James, of McClure, and Douglas Wray and his wife, Jody, of New Bloomfield; and one granddaughter, Zoe Wray.

He was employed at Standard Steel in Burnham as a laborer in the maintenance department from 1995 to the present.

He graduated with the Chief Logan High School Class of 1976.

He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local 1940 and enjoyed all sports and outdoor activities.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, First Avenue, Burnham, with the Rev. Cecily A. Eisley officiating. Interment will be in Belltown Cemetery in Decatur Township.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday and from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
