Lomie A. Peachey

BELLEVILLE — Lomie A. Peachey, 82, of 2438 state Route 655, Belleville, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2008, at her residence.

Born April 21, 1926, in Belleville, she was the daughter of the late Noah L. and Hettie M. (Yoder) Peachey. Her husband, Israel M. Peachey, preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1991.

She is survived by her siblings, Kore N. Peachey, of Belleville, David N. Peachey, of Belleville, Joe N. Peachey, of Belleville, Daniel N. Peachey, of Belleville, Anna Peachey, of Loganton, Lizzie C. Kanagy, of Kentucky, Fannie Swarey, of Allensville, and Stephen N. Peachey, of Allensville.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ezra Y. Peachey and Samuel T. Peachey, both of Belleville.

She was a member of the old order Amish.

Her funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at The Louie D. Peachey residence, Bean Tree Lane, Belleville. Interment will be in Whitehall Amish Cemetery in Belleville.

A viewing will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lomie’s late residence.
