Entertainer Ray Owen will perform three different shows at Burnham Community Day.
BURNHAM — National recording artist Ray Owen will perform three shows at this year’s Burnham Community Day on Sept. 4. The award-winning singer and songwriter’s shows will entertain in front of the Orthopedics Center on Beech Street. At 10:30 a.m., Owens will present his “Farm Heritage Show,” a musical tribute to the American farmer and a “Chicken Karaoke” contest for kids, featuring a farm animal impersonation competition. Owens will return to the stage at 11:30 a.m., with “The Song Imagineer,” billed as a “whirlwind tour through some of the most creative, zany and downright hilarious songs dreamed up anywhere down the line.” His final performance, “Hats Off to America,” will be at 12:30 p.m. This musical journey through history is “an award winning show for kids of all ages.” The festivities in Burnham will kick off with a pre-festival event on Sept. 3 in the Walnut Street Methodist Church parking lot.
