LEWISTOWN — Tired of paying high prizes for ink and toner? A new business might be able to help. At 9 a.m. Monday morning, D’Ann and Mark Mowery will throw open the doors of their new business on West Fourth Street, appropriately named — The Ink Garage. Hoping to provide a cost effective alternative for consumers, the Mowerys are looking to fill an empty business niche in the community. D’Ann Mowery said they got the idea to open their business after they saw a commercial about a business chain that offered similar services. “Started to do some research and the more I researched it, the more my husband got into it,” D’Ann Mowery said. The Mowerys are busy organizing their business this weekend, filling empty shelves and making last minute preparations. “Right now we can pretty much refill 60 percent of what is out there,” Mark Mowery said of the ink cartridges.
