Johnson is found guilty on 6 counts

LEWISTOWN — A Mifflin County jury deliberated for twenty minutes on Thursday before convicting a Cumberland man of assault related charges stemming from two incidents with a female juvenile seven years ago.

James J. Johnson, 35, was convicted of two counts each of aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and corruption of a minor.

Johnson’s charges stem from two alleged incidents of inappropriate contact he had with a 12-year-old juvenile in 2001.
